I'm changing my mind :) I like it this way, I have found some interesting links in your del.icio.us feed. When it is spliced readers can choose whether or not to read your del.icio.us feed.

Now I'm going to check out your NYC food links because I need some food next week in NY :)

Interesting, thanks for the link.

Anyway, yes, I'm splicing the delicious links into the RSS feed via feedburner's "link splicer" feature, but they don't get posted to the "real" site.

It's sort of an experiment, but I'm wondering if even those posts are too frequent.

What do you think? Interesting or obnoxious? Maybe I should poll my *many* subscribers about whether or not I should take them out. Wish me luck in getting a response!

I'm still receiving deli.cio.us links in my RSS feeder though :)
Someone wrote a nice little script that gives you more control over your delicious postings to your blog: http://notes.torrez.org/2007/07/the-return-of-l.html

Oh yeah, kenspeckle was turning into a big-time link dump. I think turning off the automated posting is already a huge improvement!

I like the fact that you have switched to a del.icio.us sidebar. On the one hand I love the feature to blog your delicious links but on the other hand it makes a blog a linkdump. Of course early blogs used to be linkdumps with a short description but it is a different matter if you write essayistic/dairy posts.
I prefer to add people to my delicious network and wander through my network now and then :)
